The Joshua Gray STYLE CONCEPT catalogs the curated outfits and garments styled by creative entrepreneur and non-profit activist, Joshua Gray. The STYLE CONCEPTS are stylistic presentations that fuse Gray’s daily style and daily outfits with artistic elements. Each STYLE CONCEPT, collected throughout the duration of THEJOSHUAGRAY.COM | SEASON 2 (January 2013-December 2013), captures Gray’s perspectives on current trends, classic revivals, and awe-inspiring artistic appeals.

Along with exploring various imagery and my international travels, the Joshua Gray Lookbook II also captures my ardor for suits and all things “dapper.”

The Lookbook was shot  in between Fall 2012 and Fall 2013; the lookbook captures many winter pairings, including furs, vests, blazers, and trenches. This installment of the Joshua Gray Lookbook sincerely captures the beginning of my style in manhood. The lookbook series is an opportunity to  witness the growth of man’s style along with his journey in manhood, I’m excited and honored to share this piece of me.

Along with the growth in my style and the integration of various forms of imagery, with the Joshua Gray Style Concept Lookbook II, I’m ecstatic to feature images from my travels in London in the lookbook. International travel played a huge part in the development on my style, travel opens your eyes and mind to the fact that you have… options. Being able to choose and being able to grow from your choices is an amazing development in the life of a young man or young woman.

I featured this image in the lookbook, shot by Will Utley, because it embodies the various roles that I commit myself to in life and in my career. The image was shot at a Pepperdine Community Networking event I hosted with the Pepperdine Black Student Association, Pepperdine Black Law Student Association, and the Black Graduate Business Association. The lookbook strives to incorporate more images in the midst of various actions or doings.

 On Tuesday, January 14, 2014, I’m releasing the Joshua Gray Style Concept Lookbook II. I’m excited because this lookbook explores the growth in my style, compared to the first Joshua Gray Style Concept Lookbook. This compilation incorporates where I am in life currently and represents my style currently–exploration with various textures, various stylings, and warmer colors.

Along with this lookbook, I explore various graphic art styles, such as the image above. My surroundings inspired the imagery in various concepts. The image above integrates a view of the Pacific Ocean and the sunset.  This lookbook is definitely more personal than the first lookbook.
